I just moved my WordPress site to a new hosting provider (MediaTemple) and new domain. Everything seems to be working well, but I can't upload images, music, etc. I get as far as "choose file" - when I choose it and hit "open" it gives me a progress bar, but the bar stays at zero.
So far, I've changed the permissions on "wp-content/uploads/" to 777. Still no luck. Anyone have a suggestion?

I see this is a common problem. For the record, I've tried everything in the sticky. Also, the uploads worked when my blog was on shared hosting with 1&1 - it stopped working when I moved it to MediaTemple - if that helps troubleshoot.
Your problem sounds different than my problem, as I can upload files, but they end up in the wp-admin directory where they are unusable.
But I can see how your problem might be related to the host you're using. I have several copies of 2.5.1 installed, those on one host work, those on another host do not.
