problem on rsvpmaker-plugabble.php line 711

    First, have to say that this has been a great plugin for an upcoming high school reunion – thank you so much.

    Did the update last week and now can’t pay through PayPal. Having 2 issues:
    1. a warning that it can’t find my configuration file. Lists the correct path, but says failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ....wp-content/plugins/rsvpmaker/rsvpmaker-plugabble.php on line 711
    2. fatal error: require_once() [function.require]| failed opening required, then lists the correct path for my configuration file, then references an include-path of .../wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-widget/lib') in ..../wp-content/plugins/rsvpmaker/rsvpmaker-plugabble.php on line 711

    Line 711 references paypal_config.

    Any suggestions?

    This error is displayed when someone tries to initiate a paypal payment, is that right? I’ll take a look

    check the settings screen for rsvpmaker. the path to the configuration file should be specified as a complete path like ‘/home/mysite/paypal-config.php’ and not something like ‘../paypal-config.php’

    Hi, David. I had set it up a few months ago using your instructional video, and it worked perfectly until the last update. I had tried resetting the path to the configuration file, even though it appeared to be correct, before I reported the problem. I haven’t touched it since except to verify.

    Yes, in answer to your earlier question, it occurred when someone clicked to initiate the payment. I think I mentioned the line numbers referenced in the error message. When I looked to check it out, that line appears to be referencing the configuration file but I’m not a PHP person, so I wasn’t sure whether it was something else.
