    Hello,

One reason that could explain the missing twitter:description meta tag is that a description could not be automatically determined by the plugin for this post. In this case you will have to enter a custom description in the Metadata box (or alternatively add it in the excerpt box) in the post editing screen.

    You feedback is welcome.

I suppose the reason is that I post images only and no text in the “excerpt field”. Is it better to add the description in the excerpt or in the field provided by your plugin? I guess that the data is saved to different locations in the database?

Yeah, this is the reason then.

As far as the ‘description’ meta tag is concerned, it makes no difference where you enter the description text. But, if you want the text to be visible in the post summaries on the web pages or in the feeds, then I’d choose to enter it in the excerpt field.

    Hope it helps.
