if i dont want wordpress to show my latest post on the front page

    Sorry if im bothering with a stupid question, but can any1 tell me how i can post something on wordpress and yet decide what is the main story on front page?
    Right now it shows the latest post, but can i post stuff so that i wont show on the main frame?

    Take a look at the wp-sticky plugin. There are other options, such as modifying the default query for the home page (but that would take editing your theme’s files).

    You could also put posts you do NOT want on the front page in a special category. Then grab one of the category excluder plugins to filter those off the main page.
