Lightbox featured Image widget

Hello! My site is elthraki.gr and I use Jarida theme. I use often Lightbox effect via short-codes in posts. I wonder if it is possible to have a widget that displays an image that it is the featured image of the last post of a specific category.
I tried “flexible post widget” but I couldn’t add the Lightbox effect.
