   Hi,

   I was wondering how to hide address in the address window and status panel when you move move the mouse to the link.

   For example, in http://wordpress.org/support/forum/7#postform in address window, I would like to show only " http://wordpress.org".

   This is called domain cloaking or domain masking and it's done via your domain registrar. Although usually it's done to mask one domain while redirecting it to another.
