[Theme: Parabola] Presentation page Home?

    Hello,

    Finally know how to Presentation page reactivated. I search the forum and saw that it has to work:

    presentation page now displays latest posts by default (requested by WordPress); this can be disabled in the theme settings

    presentation page no longer overrides static page (requested by WordPress); make sure you don’t select a static page under Settings > Reading or you will no longer see the presentation page.

    Now if you go to my website you come to the Presentation page. But I want that page on my home page are created.

    example, if you come to my website and you go through menus to contact and click back to home page you come not back on the ”Presentation page” but on my own created Home page.. The intent is that the content from Presenation page (slider, text boxes etc). Come to my own home page..

    I do understand your English, and am having the same problem. I started a separate thread a few minutes ago, asking basically the same question, and would be happy to share responses and resolutions.

    If you know the answer let me know! I saw in an older topic (same Theme)this website: http://americanarmsandsupply.com/. He has the same but it does work on his website.. Maybe we should ask him for answers?

    @allutman, I have the answer! On another forum someone said the following instructions:

    Sounds like you have lost the Home menu option linking to your Presentation Page?

    I would do this by going to the “Menus” section under Appearance, then select the option called Links. Add your main URL and call it Home (Link Text) and add it to the menu. Reposition it as appropriate and Save the menu.

    It works!

    Thanks for the information. It did work, but it would still be interesting to find out how and why the link between the presentation page and the menu lost. Oh well.. all is fine now. Thanks again.
