Unresponsive On Mobile Devices For a Noob

Hi There,
I wonder if someone can please help me. I am not very technically minded and am creating a website for my Makeup artistry business.
I am using the Corpo theme which I think is amazing and have been having lots of fun learning how to use it but I have run into some trouble recently as the responsiveness on mobile devices is not working for me anymore now I have added a few more bits and pieces.
I have read through the post here ~ http://wordpress.org/support/topic/responsiveness-on-mobile-devices?replies=14 however I really don’t understand where to begin trouble shooting this problem. Everything works beautifully on a computer, my problem is the navigation, links and my contact page doesn’t work now on mobile devices.
The navigation and links did work fine on mobile devices when I only had a few pages up but now I have added the slider to the home page, a contact page, the find us on facebook thingy (sorry for my non technical term) into the left side bar widget.
I have deactivated all the plugins to see if this fixes the problem but it doesn’t.
I would be ever so grateful if some clever, patient person would be so kind as to advise me on what I have to do to fix the problem in a way that I can understand given that my profession is makeup artistry and this kind of work is very foreign to me.
