   Hi is there a way to make asideshop posts to show up on the sidebar only? It is a perfect plugin to pick out the specific categories that I want to look different from the rest of the posts, but I want options for these to appear elsewhere such as the header, footer and sidebar.

   I tried the hack here and I'm convinced it's wrong. At some point it says add this <?php } ?> before this <?php endwhile; ?>, and it breaks my site with an error, even after I tried with the default theme. As a result, posts from my aside categories deduct from my 'Blog pages show at most', and I end up with less posts on the front page.

   any help will be greatly appreciated thank you very much.

   ghmercado,

   I think sideblog is the plugin you should look at. AsideShop does not feature widgets or anything beyond regular list of posts.

   hi maijs it appears sideblog isn't compatible to 2.5.1, I tried it the same time as I tried yours. Wrote about it here.

   Oh well thanks anyway.

   Hey ghmercado, I too am looking for a way to add this plugin to my sidebar. Did you figure out a way? I'm using sideblog at the moment, but its not nearly as customizable as this plugin.
