Cannot successfully upload a 4.5 MB music file into a post using WP 2.5.1 Media Uploader. I can upload a 1.2 MB music file using the uploader. Image uploads are fine. I can FTP the 4.5 MB music file to my server.
I have seen lots of info on image uploader issues, describing issues of width vs height but not about size.
Have I missed something? Do I need to change the maximum file size somewhere?

I have followed all the troubleshooting steps in this post: Image/Media Uploader problems and am still experiencing the same issue. I cannot upload a music file larger than 1.9 MB using the Media Uploader.
I would like to use the media uploader to upload a music file larger than 1.9 MB (the largest that has worked so far).
Suggestions on how to get around this limit are appreciated.
I can FTP the larger music file to the server but would really like to use the media uploader. I really like how it works.

Thank you sooo much for posting this link. I am a little embarrassed I did not find this info myself after all the time I spent searching.
I learned a few other important things as well. You really helped me in a big way.
