Well I was wrong, I didn’t solve it, pages still do not show a drop down and I have done everything as mentioned. I might have to use another plugin to do the automatic posts to social media since this one has stopped working on my end.
My solution was to change the plugin. I lost a whole day of it.

If I understood well the intentions of you is automatically publish posts on the site (in my case blog) news feed facebook, right?
I was getting to with this plugin. You tell me which plugin to get this result?

NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster is one but I would try jetpack and use its features for sharing posts on social networks. Facebook I was having trouble with though. Haven’t had much time to decide the best option and how to go about getting it to work 100%.

I had problems with the Plugin Facebook and Jetpack. For my choice was the NextScripts: Social Networks Auto Poster. So far it’s working!
