    Hi,

I’ve done a fresh install of The Events Calendar ver. 3.4.1 at development site http://rosannenelson.info/wfbc/ and the event titles are not showing up in the widget, only the dates, which are not linked.

WordPress version is 3.8.1. I disabled all other plugins and the titles still did not display in the widget, so there doesn’t appear to be a conflict.

It works fine when clicking the “view all events” link, but only the date displays in the widget.

This is the first time I’ve run into this problem.

    Thanks for your help!

    David

It’s also worth switching to a default, unmodified theme (in addition to deactivating other plugins). In this case for instance the issue partly relates to a CSS rule added by your theme stylesheet relating to .page .entry-title elements.

So, it does look like a conflict, but one of the CSS variety. Tweaking the theme stylesheet or adding new rules in a separate stylesheet could definitely help here – check out the Themer’s Guide to learn how to set up a tribe-events.css stylesheet.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks, Barry!

I tweaked the theme’s stylesheet – was set to display: none; That did the trick.

    Have a great day!
