How to make WordPress support If-Modified-Since?

    I am very sure that WordPress doesn’t support If-Modified-Since HTTP headers. However, if I use Super Cache, the generated cached HTML file will have If-Modified-Since because it is a static file.

    If I cannot use any Cache plugins, is there any way to enable If-Modified-Since support?

    Another weird thing I noticed is PunBB, a forum script which I think is dynamic but it has Etags and If-Modified-Since. I wonder why…
