Hello,

My site is chezsasha.com. I would like to have a static meta description for my blog to appear on search engines. Currently, the text beneath my site’s name on Google is pulling from one of the recent blog posts.

I use the Yoast SEO plugin and wrote in a meta desc. there but that didn’t work. Please help me out!

cek in your index.php create manual for you blog description or you can go to here : https://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/ for tutor.
sorry i dont help because i newbie here. i use blogger for blogging.

The best way to add meta descriptions to a site is through a plugin like Yoast’s. If it’s not working as expected, I suggest posting in the plugin’s support forum. There are a lot of people using the plugin so hopefully someone will be able to help you figure out why it’s not working:

If you really want to hard-code in a meta description, you would need to place a copy of header.php in your child theme and add the meta description there, but I don’t recommend it.
