Links and 'Add Media' not working in Events Manager

    Has anyone else had this problem…whenever I try to highlight some text and create a link, I can access the link popup box, but as soon as I press the ‘create link’ button, wordpress takes me to the ‘add new post’ page, so nothing to do with events manager. I lose anything I have just created in Events Manager and I have no idea why this is happening. Secondly, if I select the ‘add media’ button whilst in events manager (trying to add a photo to an event listing), nothing happens. Yet the add media button is working fine on blog posts. Again, any ideas what’s going on?
    Any help would be much appreciated as I urgently need to add some events and link to the websites that are organising them – thanks very much. This is something that has just suddenly started happening in the last couple of days and I have no idea why!

    I also have a problem with images and links in Event Manager on a clients site, that came out of the blue.

    I use short codes to show a list of events (#_EVENTIMAGE{150,100} #_EVENTLINK and #_EVENTDATES) on my front page and on my event page.

    PROBLEM 1)
    The images are suddenly broken (they create a mysterious double URL that doesn’t exist) like this:

    If I remove the first part of the link, the image is shown.

    PROBLEM 2)
    In Firefox the title is shown twice, both with and without a link.

    The problems started yesterday or today. Very strange.
    Could there be a general problem with links and images?

    @beadflowers This sounds like a Javascript conflict. Have you tried testing with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default theme?

    @godbrugeroplevelse Your problem could be caused by the same type of problem. Can you try the above and if that doesn’t help, open a new thread? Thanks.

    Just wanted to say thank you – it was a javascript problem and it’s now sorted out and working beautifully, so thanks very much for the advice!

    Hi

    We have exactly the same problem as beadflowers.
    I have disabled all the plugins and still the problem is the same. Posts are working but Events are not. We have the Pro version. Any advice will be appreciated.
