• Hi guys,

I have a website (based on WP) that I update on a daily basis, and I am about to leave on vacation, so i got this idea :

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to add a lot of draft posts, and then schedule WP to automatically publish them, one by one, at certain times on each day (and this way, provide your readers with new posts, even when you’re away, without Internet access) ?

Anyone think this is doable ? or do you guys know of any plugin doing
    this ?

    thanks !

  • When you write a post, you can schedule it for a future time/date. That’s how I go away, but have the blog update each day. I’d not want my drafts to turn into posts. My drafts are drafts for a reason.
Doesn’t the scheduling address your need?

    hi joetaxpayer,

sorry for the delay in response, after posting the question i left the city, so just got back now 🙂

indeed, what you said is exactly what i was after, and was wondering how WP was lacking such a basic functionality… then your post opened my eyes wide and i saw the “post timestamp” widget, so now everything seems to be just fine.

thanks a lot for the help
