(Sorry Cohen, didn’t mean to be rude)

    WordPress v3.8.1
    WooCommerce v2.1.0 (just updated)
    Theme: Wootique

After update I added two new products. I clicked on the Shop tab in a different browser and noticed that the product count did not include the two new adds. I clicked on the edit link for the Shop page and noticed the text area was empty (no woocommerce code). I foolishly deleted the shop page and ran the Install WooCommerce Pages to install missing commerce pages but the Shop page was not restored so I manually recreated it but I’m not sure what code [woocommerce_??] to place on the page… Once that’s done I hope the product count will accurately reflect the number of products. Please advise.

ok, I installed WC on a test WordPress install and checked the page: Shop. There is no code for that page.

    – The new Shop page I created is /?page_id=128
while in Tools it shows: Shop Base: #8 – /?page_id=8
Is there a way to change the WC config so it points to the new Shop page?

In WC Settings under Products/Product Listings/Product Archive / Shop Page I was able to point it to the new Shop page *whew!*. Now I’m back to the main issue: The shop page “Showing 1–12 of 34 results” when there should be 36 results. Interestingly enough, when I set the two new products to Featured, they show up in the homepage featured section, but if I use the search bar, view the Recent Products, or Click on the Shop tab they do not show up.

    hmmm…

To further troubleshoot I added 35 blank products to the test WC install. As expected, all 35 products are returned when I click on the Shop page. This points to something getting bungled up when the WC install was upgraded to 2.1.0.

If anyone has any ideas on how to further troubleshoot I’m all ears. Many thanks in advance for your kind replies.

Same issue on my site too. This update has caused more issues than fixes it seems. The forums are full of the same errors…

I manage 18 websites that have all been updated to version 2.1 and tomorrow morning I will have all the clients on the phone getting upset. Plugin author, can you please help…

Please flush your permalinks as described in our list of common issues: “Lots of pages 404 error after WooCommerce 2.1 update”, I have published this morning.

Let me know if this resolves the issues with products not loading for you guys.

My shop-page also doesnt work – the flushing of my permalinks didnt work. Any more ideas?

niwin, please don’t hijack other peoples topics and keep it to your own topics.

    Sorry πŸ™

    Coen,

Thanks. I went to Settings/Permalink Settings and clicked the Save Changes button, then opened a different web browser and clicked on the shop page. It still shows “1–12 of 34 results” but the Products page shows Published (36). I forgot to mention that on the test WP install I am using the same theme: Wootique ver 1.6.9.

To determine if the theme was the culprit I changed it to the default Twenty Fourteen. The Shop still returns “1–12 of 34 results.”

    Hi Coen,

I agree with lespresses. Followed the instructions you suggested to the word. Still when adding new products, the new products dont show up on the main shop page or the product category page on publish.

Would really appreciate the help. The is the website I am working on. http://imperialswords.com/

I have the same problem where I am adding products, which do show up when I go to View Product from the Edit Product page. But when I go around to the website itself they are nowhere to be found either in my category page or my shop page.

All elements of my site are up to date- WordPress 3.8.1 and my theme as well (Virtue) My theme developer has come in and looked things over and all is fine with their end. He suggested that perhaps when the Woocommerce upgrade was done it did not update the databases – but that is his educated guess without testing it out.

I have an email into the WooThemes help desk.

Oh and I did re-save the permalinks hoping that would rescue me but to no avail. I’m rather stuck

UPDATE: I decided to remove WC 2.1.0.

Keeping all other WC-related plugins I disabled only WC. Then I deleted WC. I then clicked the Add New button and typed in woocommerce and then clicked the Install link.

I activated the plugin then clicked the link to create the WC pages. I noticed the Shop page was missing so I recreated it manually and went to WC/Settings/Products and pointed Product Archive/Shop Page to the newly created Shop page.

In a different browser I went to the store and clicked on the Shop tab. To my relief it now stated “Showing 1–12 of 36 results.” I added a dummy product and it was correctly reflected on the Shop page. I could also search for it and find it.

For me, this issue is resolved — for now. πŸ™‚

Thanks for the update and I will give this a try. The only part I don’t completely understand is ‘once you activated the plugin then clicked the link to create the WC pages.’ Is this a standard prompt on the installation?

    @blondieseanie

Yes, this is a standard prompt (appears at the very top of the WP admin page) that occurs when WC is first installed and activated.

FYI: This issue is now resolved in the v2.1.1 fix release.
