Error: This webpage has a redirect loop

    I am a pretty seasoned wordpress user and have searched everywhere for an answer to this without any luck. I tried to deactivate all plugins and that didn’t work.

    When I try to access the membership-account page generated by the plugin, the page does not load and I get the error: “This webpage has a redirect loop.” It lets me edit the page in dashboard so I can put shortcode [pmpro_account] but once I hit update or preview, I get the redirect loop error.

    My wordpress installation is pretty fresh and light too without any core code changes. I am trying to use this plugin with LearnDash.

    I just had my hosting company (Siteground) go in to my wordpress and hosting plan to do an in depth review and they did not find any issues on the back-end.

    Please tell me what I must do to get this working. Should I delete the plugin and reinstall?

    I am getting desperate, thanks!

    Hey there,

    This issue is most commonly caused by a conflicting plugin. I know your installation is pretty fresh, but have you tried deactivating your plugins one by one? You may also want to try changing your theme to a default WordPress theme and see if that solves the issue as well.

    I did a completely fresh reinstall on another server and it worked for a few minutes. Right when I started to upload a theme and basic plugins, it started the redirect issue again. Membership-account url keeps redirecting to membership-account/membership-level/ page automatically.

    So, I deleted the theme and all plugins but now it still keeps redirecting.

    What in the world is going on?!!??!

    Surely there is something wrong with the plugin if I cannot even add any other plugin, not even the most basic one, without it crashing. WTF!

    Okay so I deleted ALL plugins and then added Paid Membership Pro by itself and now it gives me the redirect loop timeout error. Seriously, they are making this way too hard to get working.
