Some theme developers never test their themes in multiple browsers. Does the theme validate?
I love playing with that theme. Never encountered any issues with it.
Are you using the latest update from the developers site?
http://www.onehertz.com/portfolio/wordpress/mandigo/
...and are there any specifics you could share in case anyone else has seen the same issues and might be able to assist? A link to your site would be most effective, if possible.
I am using the newest version, my site is thebronxbombersblog.com
It appears as if the stylesheet is not being loaded in Firefox. Why I can not say. Did it function at the default level in Firefox (prior to header mod, etc)?

The only reason I ask, is because I currently have this theme on my test server and it functions well in Firefox and IE, but I have made no modifications to it.
no it did not function from the beggining. i did notice that the style.css file seems to be different than other themes. alls it has is:
/*
Theme Name: Mandigo
Theme URI: http://www.onehertz.com/portfolio/wordpress/
Description: Mandigo is an elegant widget-ready one/two/three-column Wordpress theme, available in two widths, SEVEN color schemes and 38 languages!
Version: 1.33.1
Author: t0mmmmmmm
Author URI: http://www.onehertz.com/portfolio/wordpress/
*/
when i validate it i get "This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional"
when i validate it i get "This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional"
Yeah, I do too. Lots of reasons for that. I just turned on my test server, and the theme is working for me in both Firefox and IE.
I can't duplicate your problem I'm afraid. I know this is pretty unlikely, but you don't have it in a nested folder in your theme directory, do you?
For example:
/wp-content/themes/mandigo/mandingo,
instead of
/wp-content/themes/mandigo
no the folder path is /wp-content/themes/mandigo. by the way i appreciate your help, this is a very frustrating problem, especially when i cant find any info on it.
Best of luck to you.
here's my css file thebronxbombersblog.com/wp-content/themes/mandigo/style.css
You should choose a new theme since your current one looks thoroughly mangled. Also, you need at least one published post for things to work properly.
i made no changes to the theme, i just published a post and it still wont work. it works perfectly in IE
The stylesheet in Mandigo, which is served dynamically, is being ad-poluted by godaddy. This makes the stylesheet file look invalid to (at least) Firefox which doesn't process it.
For the record, on the new WP themes page, the preview of this template is not working in FireFox still.
