difficult to setup and stale support board

I tried to set this up and work through all the complexity. thought I like the functionality that it would have brought me, I ran into trouble on the redirecting after login via google and then just get redirected to the registration page. I checked the support boards for a fix, but found a lot of stale data. Hopefully, one of the developers can contact me and I might reconsider. For now, going to try other plugins.
