No not as I see it.

I will keep it mind – can you tell me why you want users to create private posts ?

I have a self-help site where I’m creating an online diary for users to record their personal progress. A lot of the information will be sensitive and so needs to be private. Though users will also be able to make their posts public if they want to share their progress with others. There’s a lot of possibilities of how this his functionality could be useful.

    Ok, makes sense.

I will have a look at it.

I have made a version 2.1.1 that you can download here to test: Download version 2.1.1

Version 2.1.1 needs some testing that I hope you can help with 🙂

Awesome, thanks! I’ll be sure to let you know if I find any bugs.

I’ve only found one small error (at least I think it’s an error), which is that private posts are not clickable on the index page. Great work!

One other note: is there a reason that the status of posts can’t be changed after a post has been saved? It would be nice if the status could be changed at any time.

Now that I’m looking at the code, I realize this wasn’t an error at all. For my purposes, though, I deleted the condition to only make the title clickable if the status is set to published.

    Implemented v 2.1.2

Be aware that if you want to keep your changes in frontier_list.php you can use the template functionality
