  • You may be better served by downloading the latest version of WordPress from here: http://wordpress.org/download/

    Unzip it and upload everything to your previous WordPress installation directory except the wp-content folder, the wp-config.php file, and any .htaccess files (don’t upload those!).

    You have successfully manually upgraded your WordPress install.
