Media Custom Fields in Meta box not working

    I am using the File Gallery plugin version 1.7.8 and WordPress 3.8.1

    And The functionality to add custom fields to media items on a pages editor screen, in the File Gallery meta box is not functioning.

    If I add the custom field to the attachment item in the Media Library, it works fine and properly displays in the aforementioned meta box…but I cannot add a new custom field from the meta box.

    This item, that is 11 months old says you were aware of the problem and would release a fix in the near future, 11 months ago.

    My question to you the author of the plugin is: Had you addressed this or is it stall an active issue / problem?

    Am I using the correct versions of WordPress and File Gallery that supposedly contain the fix for this?

    Any help is much appreciated and I love this plugin…thank you very much for developing it.

    Hey @fshequin, thank you for bringing this up. It is still an active issue and I can only say I’m really sorry it’s not fixed yet 😐 I’ll be releasing an update that fixes this in a few days.

    I’ll post an update here as well. Not in 11 months, in a few days – I promise.

    @fshequin: please download and install the latest github version of File Gallery:

    https://github.com/aesqe/file-gallery/

    Attachment custom fields should be working fine now.
