I am having this problem with the Pinterest Board Widget. I copied the URL of my Pinterest board into the URL field of the widget settings. I also changed the name of the Title in the widget.

The title is displayed on the page where I put the sidebar widget. However, no pins are displayed. I have tried changing the board size just to see if ANY Pins would show up – and none are showing.

I read something about your theme having to enable javascript in the footer – how do I tell if that is happening?

I have also tried to use the Pinterest Profile Widget – but the same thing happens. The Title is displayed on the page but nothing about my Pinterest profile.

@rcards What’s the URL displaying the widget, and what’s the Pinterest board URL you’re using?

Hi, same problem–no board showing (although the title works great.) The URL for the site is: http://careertoolboxusa.com/careerblog/
and the URL for the Pinterest board is: http://www.pinterest.com/CareerToolbox/
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Lynnette,

It looks like the script that runs the various Pinterest widgets, pin it buttons, etc. is getting included not once but 3 times on the page. It could be in custom widget code, custom theme code, other plugins, etc.

You can try disabling other plugins, updating widgets so they don’t include the pinit.js file reference, and/or unchecking the “Disable pinit.js” option in the Pinterest Widgets plugin settings to see if that helps.

    Hi Phil,

I also can’t see my pinterest board widget.
I checked disable output of pinit.js box but nothing happened.

What can I do to fix this?
    Thank you!

Hello – Do you have a website address (URL) you could post that displays this behavior?

Does it help if you enable pinit.js, but disable other plugins, switch themes and/or remove extra widget code that might relate to Pinterest?
