There really isn't a lot of need for this plugin if you use a widget enabled theme as you can easily go to Design -> Widgets -> Text Widget and paste your Digsby code into the text widget. Works perfectly that way on my site www.PaulSpoerry.com. If you do NOT use a widget enabled theme and want Digsby to be enabled without making manual modifications to your theme/sidebar/etc then this is the plugin for you.

Posted 1 year ago #The main reason this was written was because it made it easier to allow for a chat window to open up in a popup window. The reason is if it is placed in the sidebar as a widget the if someone is chatting with you and clicks a link in your site then the chat will be reset, so it is useful.
