• Hi. I started to use your plugin, after 2 months of using Amazon S3 Uploads. This plugin has already moved some of my photos ( they are almost 22.000 and 2.5 GB ) in a bucket of amazon. I have stopped using it and photos already transfered are delivering from amazon.

    My questions is:

How could i upload all of my previous images that are in my host? Should i
just upload them to amazon bucket or i have to add a link from database? Sorry if i make mistake . I am new in cloud experience!

I can’t understand where to use this code… it would be nice to make a small tutorial for how to upload previous images and configure database or our website for this.

If i choose to use the same bucket, that i had with Amazon S3 Uploads, is this a problem? I try to find a way to move 2,5 gb away!

also in my admin panel of wordpress i see this notification message : wp_asssu, wp_commentmeta, wp_comments, and 23 more tables are not managed by the Cloud Storage Engine and not protected by the cloud storage. Does this mean: i haven’t moved my database to cloud storage. Right?

One bug… if i make a post from wordpress application for android, there is a problem with wp2cloud and photo inside this post. Wp2cloud doesn’t change the link in the post, and it remains the image link from internal server, that doesn’t exist, as photo is already uploaded in s3.

Post from dashboard is working OK. The problem is only from android wordpress app.

Thank you for reporting the Android issue. I’ll try to figure out how we can test that.

We identified and fixed an issue with URL generation for posts created from a mobile app. The fix is available in the just released WP2Cloud v1.3.14.

The URLs are now added to the posts correctly, but the images may not show in the Android app due to an issue in the Android app. It looks like they have a patch that fixes the issue, but haven’t released the fix yet.
