Thanks for your feedback 🙂
You can’t remove the Registered group, but it might be a good idea to be able to specify group names along with the [groups_user_groups] shortcode (which you currently can’t).
I’ll look into this and see if it makes sense to add that as an attribute to the shortcode. That way you would be able to specify a list of groups which would be shown if the user belongs to those. Something like:
[groups_user_groups group="Silver,Gold"]
For this specific issue it would not be efficient to use those attributes. For every newly added group I’d have to add it to the shortcode too…
The site I’m using your plugin on is about training courses. People who log in and go to their account page have to see which courses they are enrolled in. That’s why I want to get rid of the “Registered” group.
Hoping this can be arranged!
With 1.4.8 just released you have the exclude_group attribute for that shortcode. The documentation needs to be updated but here’s an example:
[groups_user_groups exclude_group="Registered"]
The above will list all groups the user belongs to except the Registered group.
Wow, that’s perfect. Thank you so much for updating the plugin to make this possible!
