My Roadtrip Site Built on WP (3 posts)

    JuanWay.org

I tweaked (ever so slightly) plaintxt.org's Barthelme theme. Mostly sidebar stuff.

I'm big on minimalistic designs (my personal blog is even more basic). Just so you know where I'm coming from, in case you couldn't already tell.

I'm curious what you think about the general aesthetics / navigation of the site. This is really my first attempt at using WP for anything other than straight blogging. If anything seems counter-intuitive, please let me know.

    Thanks

hey daboo, minimalistic as u said but clear and nice. On the other hand nothing different, i ve seen the same style lots of times. I would work a bit with the header (if i were u) trying to show something more from the purpose of the blog.

But mostly i/m touched with what u gonna do! As an old biker i can tell you that i still remember my roadie-days when i did my greece-italy-france-uk and all the way back journey, living on the road, meeting the most interesting ppl in my life, seeing sooooo many places! As u said: It’s about the journey, not the destination... Now i m thinking twice that would make a great logo/header!

Ya, I always kinda figured the header was the weak point of the site. I'll have to figure out something to do with it.

Also, thanks! I hope you'll keep up with the site. I'll try to keep it interesting.
