Setting presentation page as homepate

    Hello,

    I feel this is really basic but I just can’t figure it out!

    I need to add a blog to my website and to do that I need to select a static front page. However I like my presentation page and want that to be my home page.

    I want my blog to be located in a tab in the top menu, not the front page. So when selecting a static page I want my presentation page as the front page, then post page.

    Does this make sense? Help please?

    Usually in the theme->customize page in the admin menus there is an option to set your static page and your post page. Then you would put your posts page in your menu that displays on the presentation page.

    I worked it out, thank you. I had an issue with my permalinks which was muddying the waters 🙂
