   Hi!
   The url breaks when a plugin has links within the "author"-line. To be sure to avoid problems it would be a good idea to strip the author-info first..

   By right they should not be link in the author line as there is another field called Author URI.

   This is often done when there's more than one author to link to; the Sandbox theme is one example.

   Running the author line through strip_tags() wouldn't be a bad idea.
