    I learned this lesson a while back: how to write a plugin so it doesn’t interfere with other things…I’m still learning it. The problem isn’t so much the identifier of the table as it is the plugin loading it’s CSS on pages where it isn’t active.

    I see. What my intention i guess here is to avoid somebody like myself deleting these tables that belong to wpdb by accident through a plugin like this (though unlikely but still possible). For my own knowledge, Is identifying a DB table (as shown in the plugin screenshot) a standard thing?

    Ah, I see. What’s happening is the garbage collector plugin doesn’t see what plugin is using those tables and so it thinks they can be deleted? Wow, I think I would agree, I wouldn’t trust this plugin.

    There is nothing non-standard about the name, and although I don’t know how that plugin works, it would need more than just the name of a table to determine whether it was in use or not.
