Image Edit button disappeared

    Hi, I used lower version of wordpress before. There’s always an image edit button on the top left corner of an image within a post. But I don’t see this button on the latest version. The icon on the editor bar is Add Media, which is not for editing the images that I have already added.

    Researching on the net. Some people were saying wordpress only recognize jpeg and my image format is jpg. That’s why the button does not appear. That forum post was 2 years ago. For sure, wordpress has improved by now?

    Anyone has any idea? Thanks.
