Why is email sender "WordPress" instead of me? | WordPress.org

When a user receives my download email the sender is WordPress. How do I get my name and email to display instead?

you need to use a specific plugin to resolve this issue.
I am using this one: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

Here is a plugin which allows you to set any sender name and email address for the Email Before Download plugin. Works without the wp-mail-smtp plugin, and no coding needed.
