links grayed out on posts and pages

    For some reason the links icon is grayed out. Even when I go into text mode and add the hyperlink code the link doesn’t work.

    Please help

    This has nothing to do with the theme as it’s WordPress functionality.

    You need to first select the text you want to transform into a link, and then the toolbar buttons will become active and work.
