WP 3.8 How to display only Titles on first and catalog pages?

    Dear Friends,
    I am new to the WP world and I do installed a lot of Plugins to solve my problems. I use WP3.8 and theme 2014.
    However, I have one questions now.
    If I want to show the titles on first page and all catalog pages, how can I do that? which plugins or codes I should use? if I use the Alt+Shift+T to add an button, the Url seems not right, also, there are a lot of space such as Catalog, tags and so on.
    I searched on this web, but get some answers only many years ago.

    I have no posted it because it is not in English, also, I have no clue where to change the language setting, in the Setting-> General part, I have not see the language options.
