Automatic update went okay, but now prompts to install again

    Hi everybody,

    I received the e-mail that the automatic update to 3.8.1. went okay, and indeed, when I logged into my dashboard this morning, the update had gone smoothly. I checked for the current version no. (it was 3.8.1. at that time) and that was it.

    When I logged into the dashboard a couple of minutes ago, I received the message that 3.8.1 was available and to update now. Any ideas?

    Same with my Finnish site however my English site that also updated does not ask again.

    I too have this message in the dashboard even though I received an email that the update went ok. I checked the files via ftp and noticed that files have been updated. So the update obviously took place. My site is in German.

    I have two other German sites where the automatic updates everything went ok, with no new update message.

    So this may have to do with the sites being non-English, but then not for everybody alike.

    BTW: Do I ignore the “update now” message or is it better to update anyway, even if the automatic update seems to have been executed fine?
