Search by custom post type from shop pages only?

Hi,

My client’s website has a global search box on the header of the site to search all content, but they also have a “search products” box within Woocommerce’s product pages which they only want to search products.

I’ve tried setting the search parameters to product, but this appears to be a global thing and affects the normal site search as well.

Is this possible with the current WordPress plugin? Or do you think there’s an easy way for me to modify the plugin to achieve this?
