Hi Handig, this should not be happening. The plugin can just as well work as a regular plugin. In fact, I recommend installing it as a regular plugin instead of in the mu-plugins directory. After that, you should either be able to activate it network wide (via the Network Admin) or on a site by site basis.
Are you using a plugin like Plugin Commander or WPMUDEV Pro Sites which might be blocking plugin access for regular site admins?

Hi,
Great functionality especially for WordPress multisite, but can’t activate it on a site basis. The plugin is nowhere to be seen in the plugins screen.
I checked via ftp and it’s there. But can’t activate it so it isn’t working.
I then added it to the mu-plugins folder and then it works, but I prefer to be able to activate it on a site basis.
Anyone knows what is causing this issue?
