   I've got a site with a traffic problem (err...opportunity...).

   I'm looking at Hyperdb which would let me leverage my MySQL cluster.

   Can anyone give me pros/cons and explain the basic setup. FYI, I am not using Mu - standard old WP 2.5.1 for me...

   i think more effective willbe replace standard wp cache system by memcache, of course if you have additional server for it.

   I recommend SuperCache is a very useful plugin for bandwidth problems.
