can you tell me the actual shortcode you are using ?
unfortunately, at the moment i cannot as there is a problem with my host’s server. i will post as soon as my site gets back up. shortcode was created at widget in sidebar.
ok let m know when you can. nothing i can do until then as it all works fine here
hi,
okay, here is the shortcode used:
[itunes-lookup-widget artist_id=”555544107″ country=”US”]
works absolutely fine here….
try
a) create another page and try it on there
b) delete all files in itunes-lookup-widget/cache/ EXCEPT
cache-info.txt and index.html
maybe your page (or another plugin) loads some javascript somewhere that stops this from executing . check your console log
if you have a link to the page with the problem, i can have a look
here’s a link with just the shortcode on it:
http://fansofvideos.com/k-pop/test555/
i also tried disabling all other plugins and trying different themes.
suggestion (if you haven’t already):
turn on debug and check your debug.log
might give you some idea…
mind you, even using this cafepresswidget installed here , it works just fine (although it still throws the same error)
as i said, turn on debug and check the debug.log
in fact, what i really get is this:
ajaxerror :
status=>parsererror
error=>SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
again, turn on debug and it may give you a clue as there’s a ‘<‘ too many somewhere it seems
nards, too much trouble. think i’m just going to leave it and use only on the sidebar.
