• Hello all,

I recently installed wordpress 2.5 for my blog. I use bluehost as my hosting server.

However, since installing it, I’ve run into a few problems. Perhaps the most noticeable is a script error that pops up every time I do a new post.

    The error reads:

    Warning: Unresponsive script

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

    Script: http://consequenceofsound.net/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.2.3:11

How do I go about fixing this? Is it as simple as changing code on a php file? I assume this is what of the reasons my blog has also been loading a tad bit slower than usual?

I would very much appreciate the help,
    Alex

Could this also be affecting traffic and or load times?

    I would appreciate the help.

    No, it won’t.

What browser are you using? Sounds like you need to upgrade your computer/get a different browser.

I don’t think it has to specifically do with my browser because all the writers on the blog are experiencing similar script errors when trying to post.

My site also recently “exceeded its CPU Quota” which resulted in it being down for a bit. While it is since back up, this has never happened before and I’m assuming all these problems are related.

Bump. Not trying to spam, but I still need an answer.

    Thanks!

Hey, I had the same issue and managed to fix it

I posted a solution in another thread.
