Elongated Images

First, yes, I have searched the forums and cannot find a solution.

I am using the Mantra theme. Originally, the images downloaded just fine. For the last few months they are downloading about 3 times the height they should be.

I have tried changing the Settings – Media, every which way including deselecting the “crop thumbnail”.

I also tried downloading the Additional image sizes (zui), which did nothing to change it.

What could have changed that images downloaded perfectly before and then suddenly changed?

More importantly, please help me fix it, without changing code, which I do not know how to do at all.

I posted this question before, a few weeks ago, with no response. Someone said something about the fixed width in the post but I’m not sure where to go to change that.

Any suggestions at all…??? Things to try???

Site is http://travellittleknownplaces.com/, but I adjust each image manually in the Advanced Settings on each image, so they will be displayed fine on the site. Changing each image individually is very time-consuming, but I won’t publish a distorted photo.
