Constant "Help Extend the WordPress SEO" Notifications on MultiSite

    Hi,

    I have a multi-site installation and have this plugin working.

    On every one of my sites I keep getting the popup notification: “Help Extend the WordPress SEO”

    No matter how much I click Dismiss, every time I go to another page it just comes up again. It does it for all admins, on all sites.

    Unless I’ve done something wrong, this seems to be a bug with multi-site, I’m assuming its not a general issue.

    Can you please help?

    That phrase does not come from WP SEO. Do you have other SEO plugins installed ? If so, check their code for the phrase to see which one it’s coming from.

    Hi jrf, sorry but it definitely is coming from WP SEO, although possibly I got the title wrong (one of my admins had sent me a message with that in so I just copied and pasted as it looked familiar)

    The full message is:

    Help improve WordPress SEO [Header title]
    You’ve just installed WordPress SEO by Yoast. Please helps us improve it by allowing us to gather anonymous usage stats so we know which configurations, plugins and themes to test with. [Body]
    No Thanks [Button]

    I’ve used this plugin before on a single site implementation and I believe the intent is that you get this notification only once after installation and then click ‘No Thanks’ and it should go away.

    My problem is that the notification just keeps coming up on every page I go to, on each of my multi-sites. Unless of course I go to the SEO settings and allow my data to be tracked, which I don’t want to do.

    I have the same issue, even after checking the “Allow tracking of this WordPress install’s anonymous data.” option.

    The version released today contains a lot of improvements on how things are handled in multi-site. Could you please test with that ?
    Fingers crossed this was solved too.
