Sitemap Plugin not updating with each new post (7 posts)

I'm using the Stiemap plugin and it's working great except for one thing: it lags a few days before updating the sitemap.xml with the new posts I make. So, I have to do a manual update after each post. Anyone have any ideas as tto why this is happening?

    Hi,

could you try if the following version fixes your problem:

Thanks Arnee. I went ahead and did that, but it did not fix the problem. Just posted again today and it did not update the sitemap; had to click to do it manually.

    Any ideas?

    Hmm,

is the checkbox "Rebuild sitemap if you change the content of your blog" checked? Does the plugin simly nothing or do you see an error on the plugin configuration page?

Thanks for your prompt reply -- I'm sorry it too ke so long to get back.

The box is checked. But, even though I uploaded the fixes as you suggested, when I went in to the Admin panel jus tnow, it told me that th3ere was a new version available - 3.1b. That's the same version I had installed 5 days ago, HOWEVER, I checked the file dates in this new file (with same version name) is 5/22, yesterday. So, I just uploaded it.

I won't know if it now works until I make another post. I'll let you know at that time.

    Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. Most of my posts are scheduled and am wondering if that has anything to do with it?

I'm running WP 2.7 and version 3.1.2 of the plugin. The 'rebuild sitemap if you change the content of your blog' is checked.

    Thanks for any help,
    Colby
