error when updating to WordPress 3.8

    I have tried updating to WordPress 3.8 and get the following error:

    Verifying the unpacked files…

    Preparing to install the latest version…

    Warning: md5_file(/home4/trinhold/public_html/allthingshomestead.com/wp-cron.php) [function.md5-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home4/trinhold/public_html/allthingshomestead.com/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php on line 756
    The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-cron.php

    Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

    It seems like there is a plugin blocking the ability for wp-cron.php to be updated. Try disabling your plugins.

    I tried deactivating all plugins and updating, but still got the same error:
