Upload a child theme on repo

    Hi!

    Can I publish/upload a child of another WP theme on WP repo? Must I mention to the original author?
    I’m thinking about customize some interesting parent themes like Corpo or Twenty Thirteen.
    Can I sell a pro version of this child theme on my personal website?

    I don’t have all the requirements (I’m not on the theme team) but yes there are child themes in the WordPress repo.

    Must I mention to the original author?

    Yes. A child theme is a modification of someone else’s work. The modification is yours but what you are modifying is theirs too.

    Can I sell a pro version of this child theme on my personal website?

    As long as you do not do anything that violates the GPL terms then sure. The GPL does permit you to sell software.
