In WP3.8+ there are a couple of issues.

First, the post editor is hidden for posts created after updating WP to 3.8. On older posts where there is already content in the editor, it will appear. Editing posts-to-newsletter.php to use the jquery-ui bundled with WordPress fixes the missing editor, but loses the jquery-ui multiselect dialog for selecting posts.

Second, the “View” and “Preview” buttons produce a blank screen… not an empty file, but one with HTML doctype, head, and body tags… but no content inside them.

It would be good to see the plugin switch to using the bundled versions of the necessary jquery-ui files, adding only what isn’t bundled.

After troubleshooting, jquery is not the primary issue – though note the plugin is serving its own jquery-ui rather than the one from wordpress-core; this should still be changed.

    Hey Brant,

Content editor won’t show up until the post is saved, because there is no content at that time.

About the “View” and “Preview”, this has been fixed. Wait for the next update.
