    Hi
Firstly – this is a great plug-in, thanks for creating it.
I’m using it with woocommerce for product images & the search box is not working properly. It picks up on some image titles & not others. In particular the ones that are numerical only are not getting searched. There’s over 3,000 images I don’t know if that’s making the difference.
    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the encouraging words and for your report, which involves an MLA enhancement you may not be aware of.

If you enter a number in the enhanced search box it is interpreted as the “post ID” of an item you want to find. MLA will search for an attachment with that ID or a parent post/page with that ID.

If you want to search for an item whose title, etc. contains a numeric string you can put quotes around the number to bypass the “post ID” interpretation. In other words, 717 and “717” are treated differently.

There is another plugin called “Media Search” that conflicts with MLA; if you are using that plugin I suggest deactivating it. Here is an earlier support topic addressing that issue, and the original inspiration for the post ID and parent ID searches in MLA:

    Search by Parent

I hope that solves your problem and gets you the results you want. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions.

Thank you, David for the prompt reply & once again for the great plug-in. That worked perfectly!
