  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    i am not sure what that means, I am new to wordpress. please elaborate.

    i know i can get to my file from phpadmin/ file manager in the cpanel, which file do I need to replace and where do I get the replacement from?

    I am hosted by go daddy..

    You can download a fresh copy of WordPress from http://wordpress.org/download/

    you mean i should upload a fresh wordpress and delete everything that i have already?

    No. Your site’s content is stored in your database – not in files.

    Assuming that this is where WordPress is installed, then yes.
