   hi there,

   my wp blog is currently running the main blog posts on the front page...now I want to add another page to my menu with a second blog "news" and when i post certain blogs to "news" they should not display on the front page.

   I cannot find any help content on this - can anyone point me in the right direction or help me?

   Look for the "exclude categories" plugin. Install. Assign news to a 'news' category. The plugin will allow you to prevent that category from appearing on main page.

   just use the "page links to" plugin and schebang she works

   I am now able to post to my "news" category which I do not want shown in my categories list - and the news items appear in the "news" page
